— In partnership with Independence Township, the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to begin resurfacing work on Maybee Road from Dixie Highway to Clintonville Road on Monday, June 13.
Maybee Road will remain open to traffic, though there will be lane closures with traffic directed by flaggers. Motorists should expect delays.
Additionally, Dixie Highway traffic will be prohibited from turning onto eastbound Maybee Road during the work. The turn prohibition is necessary for the safety of workers and motorists.
Westbound Maybee Road traffic will be able to turn onto Dixie Highway during the work.
The contractor for the project is Cadillac Asphalt of Farmington Hills, and the resurfacing work should be completed by late July.
