The Sunoco Pipeline company has rescheduled the closure of Livernois Road just south of Auburn Road in Rochester Hills, for pipeline maintenance under the road. The work was expected to start on Sept. 20 but has been delayed until Sept. 29.
The road is expected to reopen approximately on Oct. 20. The detour route for traffic is Auburn Road to Crooks Road to South Blvd., back to Livernois Road and vice versa.
The work is being done under a permit issued by the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC). This section of Livernois Road carries approximately 13, 930 vehicles daily.
