Canadian National (CN) Railroad has closed Davisburg Road (Broadway Street), from Dilley Road to Eaton Road, and expects to close Dilley Road just south of Davisburg Road, both in Springfield Township, for railroad-crossing repair work.
The work was previously expected to start on Sept. 3; however, CN delayed the repairs.
The closure schedule and detour for each road is:
- Davisburg Road (Broadway Street), from Dilley Road to Eaton Road, is closed until approximately Sept. 24. The detour for through traffic is Dixie Highway to White Lake Road to Andersonville Road, back to Davisburg Road (Broadway) and vice versa.
- Dilley Road, just south of Davisburg Road, is expected to close Sept. 27 through Oct. 1. The detour for through traffic is Davisburg (Broadway) Road to Andersonville Road to Clark Road, back to Dilley Road and vice versa.
During the closures, access to homes and businesses within the closed sections will be maintained.
Davisburg Road (Broadway) carries approximately 5,630 vehicles daily. Dilley Road carries approximately 240 vehicles daily. For questions on the crossing repair work, contact CN at 1-888-888-5909.
