The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office will once again close Loop Road, just north of 14 Mile Road, in Commerce Township starting Tuesday, Aug. 17, for continued work on emergency sanitary sewer repairs.
Access to the businesses along the road will be maintained during the work. The detour for Loop Road through traffic is 14 Mile Road to Haggerty Road to Maple Road, back to Loop Road and vice versa.
The road is expected to reopen on Aug. 20.
