The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office will close Loop Road, just north of 14 Mile Road, in Commerce Township starting Thursday, July 22, for emergency sanitary sewer repairs.
Access to the businesses along the road will be maintained during the work. The detour for Loop Road through traffic is 14 Mile Road to Haggerty Road to Maple Road, back to Loop Road and vice versa.
The road is expected to reopen on Aug. 6.
