[ARCHIVED] EXPECT DAILY CLOSURES ON NB ORCHARD LAKE RD FROM LONG LAKE RD TO INDIAN TRAIL FOR GUARDRAIL WORK

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects daily closures of northbound Orchard Lake Road from Long Lake Road to Indian Trail in West Bloomfield Township today, July 8, and tomorrow, July 9, starting approximately 8:30 a.m. for guardrail replacement work.  

Northbound Orchard Lake Road will reopen at approximately 4:30 p.m. daily. Southbound Orchard Lake Road will remain open to traffic during the work.   

            The detour for northbound traffic is Long Lake Road to Middlebelt Road back to Orchard Lake Road.  Additional closures of northbound Orchard Lake Road will be announced soon.   

Work is being performed by RCOC crews. This section of northbound Orchard Lake Road carries approximately 14,260 vehicles per day.
