The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing the Great Lakes Water Authority to close South Blvd. between Adams Road and Coolidge Hwy. on the Rochester Hills/Troy border to through traffic Oct. 19 through approximately Nov. 13 (extended) for water main repairs.
The work area is on South Blvd. between Adams Road and Donegal Drive. The detour for through traffic during the closure is Adams Road to Square Lake Road to Coolidge Hwy, back to South Blvd. and vice versa.
This watermain repair is being done by Ric-Man Construction of Sterling Heights. This section of South Blvd. carries approximately 10,360 vehicles daily.
