The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has approved a permit allowing Consumers Energy to close Lone Tree Road between Rowe Road and Milford Road in Highland Township for a pipeline replacement Thursday, July 23, through Monday, July 27.
During the closure, traffic heading to and from homes and businesses within the closure will be allowed access. The detour for through traffic is Rowe Road to South Milford Road, back to Lone Tree Road and vice versa.
The work is being done by Snelson Companies Inc. This section of Lone Tree Road carries approximately 1,170 vehicles per day.
