The Road Commissions for Oakland County (RCOC) has approved a permit allowing Consumers Energy to close Demode Road from Fish Lake Road to Hickory Ridge Road in Rose Township for an open cut pipeline replacement beginning Tuesday, July 7.
The road closure is expected to last until approximately July 10.
During the closure, residential and business access will be maintained.
The detour for through traffic is Fish Lake Road to Rose Center Road to Hickory Road Ridge Road, back to Demode Road and vice versa.
Demode Road carries approximately 260 vehicles daily.
