The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has approved a permit allowing Consumers Energy to close Maple Road west of Milford Road in Milford Township for a pipeline replacement from Tuesday, Aug. 11, through Friday, Aug. 14.
During the closure, traffic heading to and from homes and businesses within the closure will be allowed access.
The detour for through traffic is Milford Road to Lakefield Park Drive to South Shoreline Drive, back to Maple Road and vice versa.
The work is being done by Snelson Companies Inc. This section of Maple Road carries approximately 200 vehicles per day.
