— The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office (OCWRC) to close Elizabeth Lake Road, between Cass Lake Road and M-59 in Waterford Township, today for sanitary sewer and water main repairs. The road closure is expected to last until late-June; however, the closure could be extended due to the complex repairs taking place under the road.
During the closure, access to homes and businesses in this section of Elizabeth Lake Road will be maintained. The detour for through traffic is M-59 to North Cass Lake Road, back to Elizabeth Lake Road and vice versa.
This section of Elizabeth Lake Road carries approximately 25,100 vehicles per day.
