[ARCHIVED] DTE WILL CLOSE BALD MOUNTAIN RD., JUST NORTH OF DUTTON RD., IN ORION TWP. STARTING APR. 10

Utility Work

The Road Commission for Oakland County  (RCOC) has issued a permit to DTE to close Bald Mountain Road, from Dutton Road to Silverbell Road in Orion Township, to install an underground powerline starting Monday, April 10. 

            The work is just north of Dutton Road. The detour route during the closure is Dutton Road to Squirrel Road to Silverbell Road, back to Bald Mountain Road and vice versa.  

The road is expected to reopen on approximately May 7. This section of Bald Mountain Road carries approximately 390 vehicles per day.
