The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Carroll Lake Road, from Commerce Road to Wise Road in Commerce Township, on Saturday, Sept. 10, for a one-day culvert replacement project. The work is just north of Commerce Road.
During the work, access to homes and businesses will be maintained. The detour for through traffic is Commerce Road to Bogie Lake Road to Wise Road, back to Carroll Lake Road and vice versa.
Carroll Lake Road will reopen to traffic on or before the evening of Sept. 10. This section of Carroll Lake Road carries approximately 13,680 vehicles per day.
