The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close West Utica Road at Dequindre Road on the Rochester Hills/Shelby Township border beginning Friday, Sept.9, for reconstruction work that is part of the on-going Dequindre Road project that began earlier this summer.
The detour for West Utica Road traffic is Dequindre Road to Dobry Road to Ryan Road back to West Utica Road and vice versa. Northbound and southbound Dequindre Road will remain open to traffic.
West Utica Road at Dequindre is expected to reopen to traffic approximately October 7, 2016. The Dequindre Road project from Burningbush Drive to West Utica Road is expected to conclude mid-November
