The Road Commission for Oakland (RCOC) expects to close Fenton Road between Hickory Ridge Road and Bethke Road in Rose Township for a culvert replacement on Aug. 27. The project is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled to Aug. 28.
The detour for through traffic will be Hickory Ridge Road to Bethke Road back to Fenton Road and vice versa.
The RCOC Highway Maintenance Department will replace the culvert. The project is expected to be completed in one day.
This section of Fenton Road carries approximately 4,500 vehicles daily.
