The Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office and the City of Farmington Hills will close Middlebelt Road south of 13 Mile Road between Wellington Road and Chenwood Court in Farmington Hills for a sewer tunnel construction project beginning Monday, February 22, 2016.
Residential access within the construction area will be maintained. The detour route for through traffic will be 13 Mile Road to Inkster Road to 12 Mile Road and back to Middlebelt Road and vice versa.
The contractor for the project is Ric-Man Construction Inc. Middlebelt Road is expected to re-open to traffic in mid-October.
