The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Overbrook Road just west of Lahser Road in Bloomfield Township on August 4 for a culvert replacement project.
The detour for the closure will be Nearbrook Road to Long Lake Road to Lahser Road, back to Overbrook Road and vice versa.
The $400,000 project is funded by the RCOC and Bloomfield Township. The project includes:
• Removal of twin culverts
• Installation of concrete box culvert
• New wing walls
• Relocation of existing water main (funded by Bloomfield Township)
The contractor for the project is Pavex Corporation of Trenton, MI. The project is expected to conclude approximately early-September.
