The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has approved a permit allowing Consumers Energy pipeline work on Middlebelt Road from 13 Mile Road to Maple Road and Maple Road from Middlebelt Road to Orchard Lake Road in the communities of Farmington Hills and West Bloomfield Township starting today.
During the work, roads will be open to traffic with lane and road-shoulder closures. Additionally, flaggers will direct traffic when necessary. Motorists should expect delays.
The pipeline work is being performed by the Michels Corporation of Illinois. The work is expected to be completed in late August.
