The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Cooley Lake Road, west of Union Lake Road in Commerce Twp., on Monday, June 15, for concrete slab replacements.
During the closure, westbound Cooley Lake Road will be open for business access only.
The detour for through traffic is Union Lake Road to Hutchins Street to Round Lake Road, back to Cooley Lake Road and vice versa.
The contractor for the project is Cipparrone Contracting of Southfield. The road is expected to reopen in late July.
This section of Cooley Lake Road carries approximately 6,320 vehicles daily.
