[ARCHIVED] CONSUMERS ENERGY TO CLOSE MIDDLEBELT RD FROM 9 MILE TO 10 MILE RD IN FARMINGTON HILLS BEGINNING 4/27

The Road Commission of Oakland County (RCOC) has approved a permit allowing Consumers Energy to close Middlebelt Road from 9 Mile Road north to Grayfield Drive (south of 10 Mile Road) in the City of Farmington Hills for gas main replacement beginning Monday, April 27.

            The road closure is expected to last until approximately June 29. 

            During the closure, residential and business access will be maintained. 

            The detour for through traffic is 9 Mile Road to Grand River Avenue to Orchard Lake Road to 10 Mile Road, back to Middlebelt Road and vice versa.  

            Middlebelt Road carries approximately 15,400 vehicles daily.
