LONG LAKE ROAD BETWEEN THE NORTH LEG AND SOUTH LEG OF FRANKLIN ROAD IN BLOOMFIELD TWP TO CLOSE NOV. 23 FOR ONE-DAY CULVERT REPLACEMENT
Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Long Lake Road between the north leg and south leg of Franklin Road in Bloomfield Township on Saturday, Nov. 23, for one day to replace a culvert under the road. The culvert is located between Carillon Drive and Pine Tree Trail.
During the work, residential and business access will be maintained, though the road will be completely closed at the culvert.
The detour for through traffic is Telegraph Road (US 24) to Lone Pine Road to Franklin Road, back to Long Lake Road and vice versa.
The road is expected to reopen during the evening of Nov.23.
Long Lake Road carries approximately 16,460 vehicles daily. The work is being done during the weekend to minimize traffic impacts.
