LONG LAKE ROAD TO CLOSE NOV. 9-10 FROM WOODWARD TO EASTWAYS ROAD IN BLOOMFIELD HILLS FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT
Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Long Lake Road between Woodward Avenue (M-1) and Eastways Road in Bloomfield Hills from Saturday, Nov. 9, through Sunday, Nov. 10, to replace a culvert under the road. The culvert is located between Huntingwood and Stonycroft Lane.
During the work, residential and business access will be maintained.
The detour for through traffic is Woodward Avenue (M-1) to Quarton Road to Adams Road, back to Long Lake Road and vice versa.
The road is expected to reopen during the evening of Nov. 10. The work is being done by CI Contracting of Brighton.
Long Lake Road carries approximately 16,940 vehicles daily. The work is being done during the weekend to minimize traffic impacts.
