The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to begin simple resurfacing work on Grange Hall Road, from Van Road to Jossman Road in Groveland Township, on Tuesday, Sept. 3 Monday, Sept. 16 (changed by contractor)
The road will remain open to traffic; however, motorists can expect delays. The project is expected to be completed in early October.
The approximately $930,000 project is funded by RCOC and with federal road dollars purchased at a reduced rate from another county road agency in Michigan.
The 2.75-mile project includes:
Milling sections of the road
- Paving with asphalt
- Gravel shoulder improvements
- New guardrail, signage and pavement markings
The contractor for the project is Ace-Saginaw Paving Company of Flint.
