The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to begin simple resurfacing work on Grange Hall Road, from Van Road to Jossman Road in Groveland Township, on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
The road will remain open to traffic; however, motorists can expect delays. The project is expected to be completed in early October.
The approximately $930,000 project is funded by RCOC and with federal road dollars purchased at a reduced rate from another county road agency in Michigan.
The 2.75-mile project includes:
Milling sections of the road
- Paving with asphalt
- Gravel shoulder improvements
- New guardrail, signage and pavement markings
The contractor for the project is Ace-Saginaw Paving Company of Flint.
