The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing a developer to reduce Wixom Road to one lane at Charms Road in Commerce Township daily from 9 am through 4 pm Aug. 26 through Aug. 28 for construction of a passing lane affiliated with a private development.
Two-way traffic will be maintained in the work zone under flag control (one direction will go at a time). Motorists should expect delays. The road will fully reopen to traffic at approximately 4 p.m. daily.
