The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has scheduled short-term closures of the Dixie Hwy entrance ramps to northbound and southbound I-75 in Holly Township for this Thursday and Friday mornings and next Monday afternoon for paving operations that are part of the ongoing Dixie Hwy resurfacing in the communities of Groveland, Holly and Springfield townships.
The schedule is as follows (work is weather-dependent and the schedule could change):
Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019
- Southbound Dixie Hwy entrance ramp to southbound I-75 will close for one hour for milling at 10 a.m. and reopen to traffic at 11 a.m.
- Northbound Dixie Hwy entrance ramp to northbound I-75 will close for one hour for milling at 11 a.m. and reopen at 12 p.m. (noon).
Friday, Aug. 9, 2019
- Southbound Dixie Hwy entrance ramp to southbound I-75 will close for approximately two hours for paving beginning at 7 a.m. and reopening at 9 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 12, 2019
- Northbound Dixie Hwy entrance ramp to northbound I-75 will close for approximately two hours for paving beginning at 4 p.m. and reopening at 6 p.m.
The short-term closures are necessary to complete the work quickly and safely.
