UPDATE: LAKE GEORGE RD CULVERT-REPLACEMENT TO START JULY 22
IN OAKLAND TWP.
Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Lake George Road between Stoney Creek Road and West Predmore Road in Oakland Township from approximately July 22, rather than July 15 as previously announced, through late August to replace twin culverts under this section of Lake George Road.
The start date was changed due to a delay in receiving the culvert from the manufacturer.
The detour for this closure will be Lakeville Road to Rochester Road to Stoney Creek Road, back to Lake George Road and vice versa.
Access to properties along this section of Lake George Road will be maintained at all times during the project.
This project is expected to cost approximately $92,000. RCOC will fund the project. The work will be done by Superior Contracting Group of Dryden, MI.
