ROAD COMMISSION TO CLOSE COOLEY LAKE RD. WEST OF UNION LAKE ROAD IN
COMMERCE TWP. FOR ONE DAY ON OCT. 20 FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT
Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Cooley Lake Road between Union Lake and Round Lake roads (just west of Switzerland Drive) in Commerce Township on Saturday, Oct. 20, to remove and replace a culvert.
The road is expected to be re-opened by the end of the day. In the case of inclement weather, the closure will take place on Sunday, Oct. 21.
The detour for the project is Union Lake Road to Wise Road to Carroll Lake Road back to Cooley Lake Road and vice versa.
This section of Cooley Lake Road carries approximately 6,440 vehicles per day. The work is being done on the weekend to minimize traffic impacts.
