The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close South Boulevard over the Ferry Drain, just west of John R Road near West Pointe Drive, on the Rochester Hills/Troy border, for a culvert replacement on Monday, Sept. 24. The project is expected to be completed in mid-November.
During the closure, the detour route for South Boulevard traffic will be Rochester Road to Auburn Road to John R Road, back to South Boulevard and vice versa.
South Boulevard carries approximately 10,960 vehicles per day.
The contractor for this project is Z Contractors Inc. of Shelby Township.
