RCOC TO CLOSE EAST HALF OF THE SQUARE LAKE ROAD INTERSECTION AT DEQUINDRE ROAD THROUGH EARLY SEPTEMBER BEGINNING AUG. 10 FOR PAVING
Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close the east half of the Square Lake Road/Dequindre Road intersection on the Troy/Sterling Heights border on Friday, Aug. 10.
The closure is necessary for paving that is part of RCOC’s ongoing Dequindre Road project.
During the closure, traffic will be maintained on northbound and southbound Dequindre Road and westbound Square Lake Road (19 Mile Road). Traffic will be unable to access the east half of Square Lake Road/19 Mile Road at Dequindre Road.
The detour for traffic is 19 Mile/Square Lake Road to Ryan Road to 18 Mile/Long Lake Road to Dequindre Road, back to 19 Mile/Square Lake Road and vice versa.
The east half of the intersection is expected to open in early September.
