The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Hickory Ridge Road between Fenton/South Holly and Clyde roads in Rose and Highland townships to through traffic on Saturday, May 19, to replace a culvert under the road.
The culvert replacement is just south of Primrose Lane in Rose Township. The detour for through traffic will be Fenton Road to Milford Road to Clyde Road, back to Hickory Ridge Road and vice versa.
The culvert replacement is expected to be completed by the end of the day on May 19. In case of inclement weather, an alternate date of May 20 has been set for the culvert replacement.
Hickory Ridge Road carries approximately 2,010 vehicles daily. The work is being done during the weekend to minimize traffic impacts.
