The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has closed the Polly Ann Trail (a pedestrian/bike trail) between Indian Trail Road and Drahner Road in Oxford Township. The closure is part of the culvert replacement that is taking place on Wood Trail adjacent to the Polly Ann Trail.
Wood Trail remains closed at the culvert.
The Polly Ann Trail closure is necessary due to the placement of a temporary sanitary sewer line across the trail as part of the ongoing culvert replacement on Wood Trail. Emergency work to prevent flooding in the area was completed following the culvert failure in late February.
RCOC is finalizing the design work for the new culvert. The work will be done by a contractor.
The reopening of both Wood Trail and the Polly Ann Trail is expected in June. Wood Trail is a subdivision road.
