Road Commission for Oakland County joins STATEWIDE Purchasing Group
Beverly Hills, MI — The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has joined the Michigan Inter-Governmental Trade Network (MITN) Purchasing Group and will be publishing and distributing upcoming bid opportunities on the system.
RCOC’s Purchasing Division will utilize the purchasing group to streamline the purchasing process including bid management, bid distribution and vendor relations. The MITN Purchasing Group serves 178 Michigan local government agencies.
RCOC’s road construction project bids will continue to be posted on BidExpress, which is accessible via the RCOC Website, www.rcocweb.org.
In addition to the existing vendors registered with MITN, any vendors looking to do business with RCOC can register online at: www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. RCOC invites all interested bidders to register as soon as possible.
Registered vendors can access all participating agency open bids, related documents and files, additional addendums and award information. In addition, MITN will notify vendors of new bids targeted to their industry.
“We are excited about becoming a part of MITN,” noted RCOC Managing Director Dennis Kolar. “We look forward to utilizing the MITN shared-vendor database to increase competition as we purchase materials and supplies. Additionally, our vendors will now have access to not only our open bids, but hundreds of others from across the state.”
Vendors may register on the MITN Purchasing Group website: www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. MITN’s vendor support team is available to answer questions regarding the registration process or the bid system at 800-835-4603 (select option 2).
