The
Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) plans to close Maple Road just east
of Middlebelt Road in West Bloomfield Twp. on Saturday, Nov. 11, for soil
boring and survey work for a future road project.
The work is weather-dependent and
could be rescheduled to Dec. 2.
The detour for traffic is Middlebelt
Road to Walnut Lake Road to Inkster Road, back to Maple Road and vice versa.
The road is expected to fully reopen
the evening of Nov.11. The work is being done on a Saturday to minimize traffic
impacts.
Maple
Road east of Middlebelt Road carries approximately 17,940 vehicles daily.
