Beverly Hills, MI – The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Dequindre Road at Square Lake/19 Mile roads (at the intersection) on the Troy/Sterling Heights border for storm sewer installation beginning Oct. 17 at 6 a.m.
The work is part of the ongoing Dequindre Road widening project from Long Lake Road to Burning Bush Drive.
During the closure, the detour for through traffic will be John R Road to South Boulevard to Dobry Drive to Ryan Road to 18 Mile Road, back to Dequindre Road and vice versa. The intersection is expected to reopen approximately Nov. 15.
This section of Dequindre Road carries approximately 26,000 vehicles per day.
