The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has begun a six-mile resurfacing project on Lakeville Road between Rochester Road and Glaspie Street in the Village of Oxford and Addison and Oxford townships.

The $1.3 million project is funded by the Federal Surface Transportation Program, RCOC and the Village of Oxford. The project includes:

  • Milling
  • Paving with hot mix asphalt
  • Replacement of guardrail in several locations
  • New pavement markings

During construction, Lakeville Road will remain open to traffic with flaggers directing motorists in work zone areas.

The contractor for the project is Ace-Saginaw Paving Company of Flint, MI

The Lakeville Road work starting point is just west of Rochester Road and will end at Glaspie Road. The project is expected to conclude in early-June.
