The Road Commission for Oakland (RCOC) expects to close Andersonville Road just north of Hall Road in Springfield Township for a culvert replacement project on Saturday, May20. The project is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled to May 21.
The detour for through traffic will be White Lake Road to Dixie Hwy to Davisburg Road, back to Andersonville Road and vice versa. Residential access will be maintained; however, the closure is just north of Hall Road.
The RCOC Highway Maintenance Department will do the work. The one-day project is expected to be complete on May 20.
This section of Andersonville Road carries approximately 2,710 vehicles daily.
