The Road Commission for Oakland (RCOC) expects to close Ormond Road just north of Big Lake Road in Springfield Township for a culvert replacement project on Saturday, May 13. The project is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled to May 14.
The detour for through traffic will be White Lake Road to Milford Road to Davisburg Road, back to Ormond Road and vice versa.
The RCOC Highway Maintenance Department will do the work. The one-day project is expected to be complete on May 13.
This section of Ormond Road carries approximately 3,200 vehicles daily.
