The Road Commission for Oakland (RCOC) expects to close Lahser Road between Quarton and Lone Pine roads in Bloomfield Township for a culvert replacement on May 13. The project is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled to May 14.
The detour for through traffic will be Quarton Road to Telegraph Road (US-24) to Lone Pine Road, back to Lahser Road and vice versa.
Residential traffic will be maintained; however, homeowners are advised that the full closure is just south of Falmouth Road.
The RCOC Highway Maintenance Department will do the work. The project is expected to be complete on May 13.
This section of Lahser Road carries approximately 7,500 vehicles daily.
