[ARCHIVED] OAKWOOD RD EAST OF SASHABAW IN BRANDON TWP TO CLOSE THIS WEEKEND FOR CULVERT REPLACEMENT

           The Road Commission for Oakland (RCOC) expects to close Oakwood Road east of Sashabaw Road in Brandon Township to replace four culverts on May 6 -7. The project is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled to May 13-14.

            The detour for through traffic will be Baldwin Road to Seymour Lake Road to Ortonville Road, back to Oakwood Road and vice versa.   Residential access will be maintained both days. 

            The RCOC Highway Maintenance Department will do the work. The project is expected to be complete on May 7.   

            This section of Oakwood Road carries approximately 4,800 vehicles daily.
