The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) will close Wattles Road just east of Kensington Road in Bloomfield Township to through traffic on Saturday, May 6, for a culvert replacement project. The work is weather-dependent and could be rescheduled for Sunday, May 7.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Kensington Road to Charing Cross Road, back to Wattles and vice versa.
The RCOC Highway Maintenance Department will do the work. The one-day project is expected to be complete on May 6.
Wattles Road carries approximately 1,100 vehicles daily.
