The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has authorized the closure of Cass Lake Road between Front Street and Stapleton Drive, in Keego Harbor, to through traffic on April 8 -9 to facilitate the repairs of a pedestrian bridge for a private development.
The detour for the weekend closure is Orchard Lake Road to Telegraph Road (US-24) to Highland Road (M-59) to Elizabeth Lake Road back to Cass Lake Road and vice versa.
The contractor for the project is Braun Construction Group, and work is being done under a permit issued by RCOC. Cass Lake Road carries approximately 16,000 vehicles daily.
