Motorists that use Dequindre Road between West Utica/M-59
and Burningbush are advised to seek an alternate route today, Monday, December
5 (previously scheduled work on 12/2 was cancelled due to weather-related
issues). Dequindre has been under construction since
mid-June. Dan’s Excavating, contractor for the project, will
be activating the new traffic signals, placing lane markings and shifting
southbound traffic to the newly paved lanes. Motorists can
expect major delays as the contractor works toward completing the
project. The work should be completed later this
afternoon.
