[ARCHIVED] PAVING WORK UNDERWAY IN MAPLE/FARMINGTON ROUNDABOUT – MOTORISTS ENCOURAGED TO SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTE

Beverly Hills, Mich. – The contractor for the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) is currently working in the Maple/Farmington Roundabout in West Bloomfield Twp. as part of the ongoing Maple Road resurfacing project between Drake and Farmington roads. The roundabout remains open to traffic, but motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes.
Maple Road between Drake and Farmington roads remains open only to westbound traffic (to ensure access to Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital).
The work in the roundabout is weather dependent and is expected to last approximately two weeks, but could take longer. The Maple Road project is expected to continue through approximately the end of the month.
