The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has approved a short term closure of Squirrel Road to through traffic (just south of Hunt Master Court) between Wattles and Long Lake roads in Bloomfield Township on Saturday, Oct. 29, for sanitary sewer work related to a private development.
The work will begin early on Saturday and the road is expected to reopen the afternoon of Oct. 29.
The detour for through traffic is Wattles Road to Adams Road to Long Lake Road back to Squirrel Road and vice versa.
The work is being done by Superior Excavating on behalf of the developer.
