The Oakland County Federal Aid Committee will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the Orion Township Municipal Complex, 2323 Joslyn Road in the township.
The session will review updates for upcoming federally funded road projects scheduled for 2026 across Oakland County. In addition, committee members will review and update the committee’s bylaws and procedures.
The committee is tasked with determining how federal road funds are distributed in Oakland County. It is made up of representatives of the Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), all communities in the county, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), SMART (the suburban bus system) and the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG).
