DEVELOPER TO CLOSE BUELL RD., COLLINS RD. TO ROCHESTER RD. IN OAKLAND TWP., STARTING APRIL 13
The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) has issued a permit allowing Lombardo Homes of Shelby Township, a private developer, to close Buell Road, from Collins Road to Rochester Road in Oakland Township, to through traffic starting Monday, April 13, through Friday, June 5.
The closure is necessary for Lombardo Homes to pave a section of Buell Road in conjunction with a new housing development.
Access to homes within the closed section of Buell Road will be maintained throughout construction.
The detour for through traffic during the closure is Rochester Road to Stoney Creek Road to Lake George Road, back to Buell Road and vice versa.
This section of Buell Road carries approximately 350 vehicles daily.
