BALD MOUNTAIN ROAD FROM DUTTON TO SILVERBELL ROAD IS CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC

Bald Mountain Road, from Dutton to Silverbell Road in Orion Township, is currently closed to ALL traffic due to a Consumers Energy utility issue under the road. The road expected to reopen in the fall, date to be announced.

Bald Mountain Road, between Dutton Road and Roxbury Drive (south of Silverbell Road), will remain closed to all traffic until fall. Consumers Energy needs to lower a high-pressure gas transmission line under the road. The current transmission line is near the road's surface, so this section is completely closed for matters of safety.
