Bear Creek Court Culvert Replacement-COMPLETE

LOCATION:  East of Collins Road, just north of Orion Road

COMMUNITY:  Oakland Township

FUNDING/PROJECT INFORMATION:

The $837,000 project is funded by the RCOC.

Project includes:

  • Removing three culverts under the road.
  • Replacing with a  pre-cast concrete box culvert.
  • Minor storm sewer improvements.
  • Curb and gutter replacement in the vicinity of the culverts.
  • Repaving over the new box culvert with asphalt.

CONTRACTOR/TIMELINE/ROAD CLOSURE:

CONTACTOR: VIL  Construction Inc. 

START DATE:  July 25

PROJECT COMPLETION: Sept. 30

ROAD CLOSURE: No; however, a temporary one-lane road will be constructed for residential traffic.
