Distracted Driving

Here at RCOC, we fix and maintain the roads, but unfortunately, we can’t control what happens on them.

Distracted Driving

For many of us, driving is such a large part of our daily lives that we forget how dangerous it is. If driving a two-ton hunk of metal at speeds of 70+ miles per hour isn’t dangerous enough, we add eating, talking and texting and other distractions to create a recipe for disaster. Driving under such conditions has proven to be so dangerous that ascending thousands of feet in an airplane has been deemed safer.
